Young Working Saints

Who we are
God has so much burden and desire in His heart for His move among the young people today. In response to this, the church in Singapore was led to start a new district made up of young working saints. We enjoy the church life together and take Godís ordained way to bear His testimony for His building. Although we come from different countries, we enjoy rich fellowship in the one new man and experience the Body life together.

In August 2004 there were about ten of us who started a prayer meeting together. Then, in December 2004, we had our first Lordís table meeting. By the Lordís mercy and grace, many new ones were gained and lost sheep were recovered. In June 2006 we began to have two Lordís table meetings, one in English and the other in Chinese. Currently, in 2008, the young working saints are being blended into the respective zones and districts, and there are about 50 young working saints meeting regularly every week.

Where we meet
Praise the Lord! Through steadfast prayers, homes were opened up for our prayer meeting, small group meetings, and Lordís table meetings. In these meetings, we grow in the divine life and learn to serve and function according to our measure as a living member of the Body of Christ.

The Lord has blessed us with several meeting places and times so that more saints and friends can enjoy and experience the Lord with us:

Activities
Weekly Pursuit:The Holy Word for Morning Revival Ė main material for the Lordís Day meetings.
Books by Watchman Nee and Witness Lee Ė main material for the small group meetings

Bible Reading:We encourage the saints to read the Bible regularly and get into the truth.

Annual Events:Every May and October we have out-of-town trips during the holidays (e.g., to Tangkak, Malaysia in November 2004, and to Kluang, Malaysia in May 2005). These trips are for us to be blended and built up together in love, as well as for the gaining and shepherding of new believers and lost sheep.

Service Fellowship and Pursuit: At least once a month, on Lordís Day afternoon, some of us come together to pray and to pursue some messages which are helpful to us in both our Levitical service and spiritual priesthood in the church life.

Others: Some sisters have picked up the burden to cook meals for those attending our small group and Lordís Day morning meetings. In addition, there are also various blending activities throughout the year. For example, we often play badminton, table tennis, squash, etc., or go biking together. Sometimes we also have guitar lessons for those who are interested to learn to serve in the meetings. Last but not least, we also practice to minister the riches of Christ when we go out to visit the saints and our gospel friends every week.
